Foam Clay is a unique, soft, and malleable material that is an essential accessory for cosplay and handicrafts. It is extremely easy to shape, can be smoothed with wet hands, and is suitable for creating almost any organic shape – whether it be vines, decorative ornaments, small sculptures, or intricate details on costumes.
Foam Clay is ideal for repairing EVA Foam and filling joints, as it adheres well to the material, eliminating the need for separate adhesives. When attaching to other materials, contact adhesives are recommended. The total drying time is 24-48 hours, after which the foam clay provides a resistant but minimally flexible surface. After drying, it can be easily sanded, cut, and shaped, and can even be carefully reshaped with a heat gun.
The surface can be treated in the same way as EVA Foam: it can be primed and painted with acrylic paint, Flexi Paint, or other paints used for cosplay. If even greater strength is required, Foam Clay can be made harder and more durable with a Worbla coating. The product is available in black and white, but the color does not affect its usability.
